Job Summary
Lead the organization’s board-level and external financial reporting processes, drive month-end close, and deliver clear, insightful financial narratives to senior leadership and stakeholders. Partner with regional finance leaders, operational teams, and the executive team to develop board presentations, KPI dashboards, variance analyses, and performance commentary. Oversee GAAP-compliant monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements; manage debt covenant compliance, lender reporting, and liquidity forecasting; coordinate with auditors and provide ad-hoc financial modeling and reporting to support strategic decision-making. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and internal controls. Present financial results and insights to senior leadership and highlight trends, risks, and forward-looking considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor�s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field (required)
- CPA license strongly preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and analysis — healthcare services or multi-entity environment experience is highly valued
- Hands-on experience preparing board-level materials, supporting annual audits, and managing consolidated reporting
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize large volumes of data into executive-ready insights and narratives
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (modeling, pivot tables, Power Query) and PowerPoint
- Experience with Sage Intacct (or similar multi-entity ERP systems) for general ledger, consolidation, and financial statement design is required
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams
