Job Summary
Provide on-site medical support as Health & Wellness Specialist (On-Site Medic) at a construction-site setting. Conduct patient assessments, administer first aid, and deliver guided treatment under provider direction. Lead injury prevention initiatives (e.g., stretch and flex, ergonomic coaching) and support case management with follow-ups and referrals. Document care in the EHR; maintain a clean and stocked on-site medical facility; collaborate with safety teams for orientations and trainings. Build trust with patients, on-site staff, and healthcare providers; offer psychosocial support using a peer model. Ideal candidates have 3–4 years in emergency, occupational, or military medicine, high school or equivalent education, BLS/CPR/First Aid, and a valid driver's license with ability to walk the site and lift 25–50 pounds. Schedule is full-time, Monday–Friday, 10-hour days (7:00AM–5:00PM).
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school or equivalent (required)
- BLS, CPR, First Aid certification required
- EMT/NREMT certification preferred
- Driver's License required
- Ability to walk the jobsite for up to 5 hours daily
- Must be able to lift 25-50 pounds
