Job Summary
Lead resident care, nursing leadership, and regulatory safety and compliance for an 86-bed Assisted Living and Memory Care community. Manage a full team through recruiting, interviewing, mentoring, and coaching while performing comprehensive assessments, coordinating individualized care plans, and ensuring proper medication management. Liaise with internal staff, third-party vendors, and medical professionals to foster quality care and handle incident reporting and investigations. Assist the community during emergencies and maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Requires LPN/LVN or RN license with five to seven years of senior care management experience. Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN Supervisory/Management experience in Assisted Living & Memory Care
- LVN, LPN or Registered Nurse with a current license in good standing
- RN
- Five to seven years experience in a senior care environment
Desired Qualifications
- Five years previous management experience
- Knowledgeable of standards of care and practices applicable to the delivery of geriatric services, complex medical conditions, multiple medical diagnoses, including preventive measures, rehabilitation, and promoting independence
- Experience in geriatric nursing or gerontology, including education in the aging process, memory decline and related behavior management
- Expertise in most up-to-date safety and infection control practices
- Experience building and leading effective nursing teams including hiring, training and development
- A bachelor's degree in nursing
- Five years previous management experience
- Five to seven years experience in a senior care environment
