Job Summary
Answer telephone inquiries, communicate information to personnel, and assist with patient scheduling, registration, and accompanying patients to other departments. Prepare patient medical records, labels, and daily sheets while entering and verifying data in the computer system. Order supplies, stock exam rooms daily, and maintain equipment, utility areas, and support spaces in a clean environment. Assist with prior authorization, referrals, and chart abstracting as needed. Orient new employees and adjust assignments to respond to workload changes. Maintain regulatory requirements and represent the organization professionally in a high-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Able to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing

- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

- Professionalism and strong work ethic
- Ability to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to move about to accomplish tasks or move from one worksite to another
- Able to constantly communicate with others to exchange information
- Ability to constantly assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned
- Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly
- Occasionally light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally requires repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Occasionally encounter noisy environments
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Some administrative/clerical experience preferred
