Job Summary
Plan, organize, and implement non-nursing functions of the radiology unit to facilitate workflow and enhance productivity. Perform clerical and reception duties, including requisitioning supplies and equipment, assisting with scheduling, and observing telemetry monitors to notify caregivers of changes. Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and staff while promoting efficient unit function and indirect resident care. Rotate through day, evening, and night shifts starting at 0630, 0930, or 1430, with weekends every fourth weekend. This role supports Essentia Health's mission to make a healthy difference in people's lives through compassionate, behind-the-scenes care.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a health unit coordinator program or medical secretary program
- 1 year experience or training in a hospital or clinic setting as a health unit coordinator, medical secretary, or medical receptionist
