Job Summary
Plan, organize, and implement non-nursing functions of the radiology unit to facilitate workflow and enhance productivity. Perform clerical and reception duties, including requisitioning supplies and equipment, assisting with scheduling, and observing telemetry monitors to notify caregivers of patient changes. Support Diagnostic Imaging Staff including Rad Techs and MRI Techs while providing excellent customer service to patients, families, and staff. This role promotes efficient unit function and indirect resident care within the Radiology Support department at Duluth Clinic.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a health unit coordinator program or medical secretary program
- 1 year experience or training in a hospital or clinic setting as a health unit coordinator, medical secretary, or medical receptionist
Desired Qualifications
- health care experience, whether it be in Registration, scheduling, or patient care
- student attending a Radiologic Technologist program
- student attending a Sonography program
- student attending a Nuclear Medicine Program
