Health Unit Coordinator-Pediatric Medical/Surgical

Manage and facilitate day-to-day unit operations by answering phones, organizing files, ordering supplies, handling correspondence, managing databases, and providing general support to patients, families, and staff. Collaborate with the clinical team to coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges while maintaining accurate electronic health records with high attention to detail. Utilize excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently as the backbone of the unit. Work part-time, 60% FTE, on 8 and 12-hour shifts between 7:00am and 11:00pm with every 5th weekend and holiday rotation.
