Health Unit Coordinator/Patient Care Assistant - Pre/Post/PACU/Short Stay HUC/PCA

Health Unit Coordinator provides organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units and the healthcare team, including monitoring and ordering supplies, assisting with managing orders in the electronic health record (EHR), and communicating with patients, visitors, and staff. The role supports the continuum of care, participates in continuous improvement, and works to anticipate team and patient needs. The Patient Care Assistant assists staff with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under supervision of a registered nurse, performing delegated skills within the scope of unlicensed nursing personnel.
