Health Unit Coordinator - Nursing Support Services - HUC

The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) provides organizational, receptionist, and clerical support to patient care units and the health care team, including monitoring and ordering supplies, answering patient call lights, and assisting with managing orders in the EHR. Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, and facility staff, and supports cross-continuum care. Serves as a resource to the health care team, participates in continuous improvement, and supports self-development within the role.
