Health Unit Coordinator- Medical Surgical Unit

Answer and direct calls from patients, family members, physicians, and ancillary departments while monitoring cardiac telemetry and notifying staff RNs of changes. Record vital signs accurately, initiate and maintain patient charts, and relay messages to providers and nursing staff. Provide receptionist duties, order supplies, and ensure electronic medical records reflect physician orders and patient consultants. Maintain competency in the computer system and demonstrate flexibility in daily schedule and duties. Work the 2:45p-11:15p shift, 24 hours per week, on the Medical Surgical Unit at Beloit Memorial Hospital.
