Health Unit Coordinator - MACC Fund Center, Part-time

Job Summary
Welcome patients, manage secure unit access, and relay information quickly while maintaining confidentiality. Maintain and manage patient records, process admissions and discharges, and coordinate with clinical staff to support patient flow and bed availability. Handle data entry, filing, supply management, and general office tasks to keep the unit organized. This role requires 20 hours per week with a rotating schedule from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm, including weekends. High school diploma required; healthcare clerical training preferred. BLS and CNA certifications are required. Join Children's Wisconsin, the region's only independent healthcare system dedicated solely to the health and well-being of children.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be available to work rotating Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sundays
- Thursday session mandatory for orientation
- BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider certification
- CNA-Certified Nurses Assistant certification
Desired Qualifications
- Healthcare clerical training or experience
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
