Job Summary
Coordinate patient flow, admissions, discharges, and transfers in the Emergency Department while managing receptionist duties, data entry, and clerical support. Respond to patient call bells, perform hourly and environmental rounds, update white boards, and maintain accurate patient charts in Chart Lite and EPIC. Manage unit supply inventory, coordinate ancillary appointments, handle fax and document scanning, and complete performance improvement audits. Complete EPIC downtime responsibilities including printer maintenance and census printing.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team

- Knowledge of medical terminology
