Job Summary
Maintain and update patient records while performing direct patient care activities under Registered Nurse supervision. Assist patients with dressing, bathing, and eating; collect non-invasive body fluid specimens or gather vital signs without administering IV fluids. Document patient interactions and support physicians and nursing staff with procedures as needed. Requires Certified Nursing Assistant certification, BLS, and one year of related experience. Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- BLS
- Current AHA Healthcare provider, American Red Cross, AHA Health Saver or KH BLS during General Orientation
- Must be able to lift or move up to 35 lbs
- Must be able to reach arms above or below shoulder height
- Regular and predictable attendance
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
- Knowledge of spelling and medical terminology
