Job Summary
Transport patients safely throughout the medical center using wheelchairs, stretchers, and other transport equipment. Assist with patient positioning and preparation for imaging procedures while supporting clinical staff during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Monitor patient safety, promptly report changes in condition, and respond to emergencies by performing CPR when required. Maintain patient records, process documentation, and support imaging department workflows. Answer phones, assist patients and visitors, and provide general administrative support. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This role supports the VA Southern Nevada Healthcare System's staffing contract.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to work days, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Ability to pass required VA background and credentialing requirements

- Experience in a healthcare, hospital, radiology, or clinical setting
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
