Health Technician

Transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, medical bed, and other devices. Assist with patient positioning and imaging procedures, including safe patient handling and transfers. Respond to emergencies and perform CPR when indicated. Transport specimens and support patient care activities while maintaining imaging department safety, cleanliness, and supplies. Perform clerical duties, scheduling support, record management, and phone reception. Enter patient data into computerized systems and support PACS workflows. Serve as patient observer when needed and provide guidance to patients and families. Requires CPR/BLS capability, experience with patient transfers, and proficiency retrieving and documenting information in the Veteran electronic medical record.
