Job Summary
The Health Specialist will oversee the implementation of high-quality Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH) activities, ensuring timely reporting and monitoring of project progress. Responsibilities include leading training initiatives in accordance with DOH standards, mentoring staff in MNCH practices, and facilitating technical dialogues with stakeholders. The role also involves monitoring site activities, analyzing reports, coordinating training sessions, and supporting project proposal development. The ideal candidate should have a Master's Degree in a relevant field and at least five years of experience in health project implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Health or Allied Health, or other related fields
- Master’s Degree in Public Health or other health-related master’s degree
- Formal training in Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH)
- At least five (5) years of experience in health project implementation, design, and training
- Willingness to undertake frequent travel to covered municipalities
Desired Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Reproductive Health programs
- Good English writing and communication skills
- Relevant work experience in Maternal, Child, and Reproductive Health
