Job Summary
Monitor children's health by reviewing physicals, conducting audio/visual screenings, and performing "head checks" after extended breaks. Document all health-related information in ChildPlus and original files, manage Asthma/Allergy plans, and coordinate referrals with the Nurse. Assist with height/weight measurements and intakes for new families, while completing safety checklists and rotating phone coverage. Provide accurate reports, maintain confidentiality, and apply training to address client needs. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency requirements. Requires Bilingual-Spanish/Portuguese, CPR/First Aid certification, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual-Spanish and/or Portuguese
- Valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and good driving record
- Must be or become certified in CPR & First Aid within the time frame required by EEC licensing
- Proof of physical exam within the last year determining good health and meeting all EEC requirements
- Proof of MMR
- Related Certification or higher
