Job Summary
Health Solutions Specialist (Mid Level) at USAA – provide guidance on health, life, and related products to members, educate on Medicare Advantage/Supplement and final expense options, document member information, assess needs, make product recommendations, overcome objections with advanced sales techniques, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role involves inbound/outbound member communications, potential limited member servicing, and achieving referral/product acquisition goals. Requires in-office presence five days a week with potential hybrid option after six months; campuses in Plano, CO Springs, or Phoenix. Must hold Life and Health license, AHIP and carrier appointments, and have 2+ years of customer service/sales experience, with strong written and oral communication, multi-tasking, teamwork, and ability to learn new concepts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Life and Health license
- AHIP certification
- Broker/Carrier appointments
- 2+ years customer service/sales experience
- experience with Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement Plans
- experience working during Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP)
- 1-3 years of call center or healthcare-related experience preferred
