Job Summary
Assist members with basic Activities of Daily Living (ADL) skills and implement training procedures to increase their independence in personal care. Attend to first aid needs and participate in member assessments. Transport participants in a personal vehicle using a valid driver's license and three years of driving experience. Use computers for Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet tasks. Work full-time, 35 hours per week, with an 8:30am to 3:30pm schedule in West Springfield, MA.
Required Qualifications
- High School/GED
- 1-year related experience
- CNA training
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills
- Strong teamwork skills
- Demonstrated reliability and dependability
- Valid driver's license
- 3 years driving experience
- Good driving record
- Use of vehicle
- Willingness to transport participants in personal vehicle
- Ability to use computers to include Microsoft Word, data entry, email, and internet
Desired Qualifications
- One year of human service experience
- Knowledge of and respect for diverse populations
