Job Summary
Health Services Specialist (RN) will fulfill the Director of Nursing responsibilities in the absence of the Director of Nursing across assigned communities, lead health services operations, coordinate with physicians and care teams, supervise staff, ensure regulatory compliance, and support quality improvement initiatives. The role requires driving resident care quality, training staff, managing health services programs including EHR, coordinating with discharge planners and state agencies, and participating in CQI committees, with 90-95% travel and a focus on leadership and regulatory adherence.
Required Qualifications
- Current unencumbered RN license in the state the employee resides in
- Willing to obtain a nursing license in assigned states
- CPR certification
- Background check and drug screening
- Two or more years of management experience in senior living or related health programs (preferred)
- Computer proficiency including experience with EHR management
