Job Summary
Health Services Specialist serves as interim Director of Nursing in designated communities, leading daily health services operations, coordinating resident care with physicians, discharge planners, home health agencies, case managers, and state personnel; supervises and trains staff, oversees the organization's electronic health record (EHR) program, ensures regulatory compliance and quality improvement, collaborates with administrators and program directors, and supports recruitment and retention of health services staff while managing budgeting and performance within senior living communities.
Required Qualifications
- Holds current unencumbered license in the state the employee resides in as a Registered Nurse
- Willing to obtain a nursing license in assigned states
- Holds current CPR certification
- Subject to criminal background check and drug screening
- Minimum two (2) years of management experience in senior living or related health programs preferred
- computer proficiency in typing and various programs, including a background in EHR management
