Job Summary
Health Services Director leads the clinical team for Assisted Living residents, overseeing medication management, infection control, staff mentoring, and coordinating personalized care plans. Requires RN license and at least one year of leadership in a senior living/long-term care setting; responsible for 24/7 clinical operations, on-call coverage, clinical liaison with families and healthcare professionals, and ensuring nursing processes and regulatory compliance. Demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and collaboration with the Executive Director and community leadership to deliver high-quality resident care. Must maintain active nursing licensure and CPR/First Aid certification; duties include staff scheduling, training, and adherence to infection control and medication administration standards.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license (unencumbered)
- Compact license or ability to obtain license encouraged
- Experience leading clinical operations in an assisted living or LTC environment (minimum 1 year) as Wellness Director, Health Care Coordinator, or Director of Nursing
- Current driver’s license
- Graduate of accredited nursing school
- RN/LPN/LVN license in the state where the community is located
