Job Summary
Develop high-quality Fracture Liaison Services (FLS) across the UK by supporting NHS systems to develop, commission, and improve early diagnosis clinics. Close the secondary fracture prevention gap by ensuring patients are identified after a first fracture and receive timely assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for osteoporosis. Engage and influence key decision-makers and stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels to secure buy-in and investments in NHS services. Work in close partnership with the Policy & Influencing team within the Services and Influencing Directorate to drive research and improve bone health. Fully remote position with a fixed term of 12 months.
Required Qualifications
- experience engaging and influencing key decision-makers and stakeholders at local, regional and national levels
- significant experience of working with external stakeholders to secure buy-in and/or investments in NHS services
- a strong understanding of UK healthcare systems and health service delivery, including commissioning structures
