Job Summary
Entry-level healthcare role at Arcadia Retirement Residence (Health Care Center) supporting dining, housekeeping, clerical tasks, and resident care. Responsibilities include reviewing meal tickets and dining setup, serving meals, delivering meals to resident rooms, assisting with transfers and ambulation, recording ADL tasks and vitals, providing companion services, observing changes in residents' condition, maintaining safety and cleanliness, managing supplies, and participating in quality improvement and disaster drills. Requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), basic computer skills (Vision or Microsoft Office), and ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Shifts are Full Time (35-40 hours/week), typically 10:00 am–6:00 pm, with a pay range of $17.00–$18.53 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Computer proficiency (Vision or Microsoft Office Suite)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Experience in healthcare or eldercare environment preferred
