Job Summary
Lead pre-shift health screenings, assist with employee care and first aid, and provide translation services in English, Spanish, and Creole for Health Services visits and physical therapy appointments. Conduct hearing tests, complete filing and data entry to maintain accurate records, and coordinate employee care appointments and follow-ups. Maintain strict confidentiality of all health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations while supporting departmental operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Strong willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Must agree to obtain an approved certification as a condition of employment within a reasonable timeframe after hire
Desired Qualifications
- CPR and/or First Aid Certification
- Previous experience in healthcare, occupational health, or related field
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Experience with translation or interpretation in a professional setting
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (speak, read, and write)
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
- Paramedic
- Home Health Aide (HHA)
- Physical Therapy Aide
- Athletic Trainer
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
