Job Summary
Coordinate resident care and medication management under physician supervision while administering treatments and performing nursing duties per the Nurse Practice Act. Communicate with healthcare professionals, discharge planners, and state agencies to address all resident needs, and oversee Medication Technician training. Conduct pre-admission assessments, interview potential residents and families, and perform routine reassessments in compliance with Title 22. Monitor resident health continuously through staff observations and alert leadership to physical or emotional changes. This role requires a licensed RN or LVN with a valid California nursing license, preferably two years of RCFE experience and one year supervising staff. The position offers a salary range of $120,000 to $125,000 DOE at the Carlisle- Ivy Signature Living community in San Francisco, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) holding a valid California nursing license in good standing
- Must pass a criminal background clearance before beginning work
- Must be highly motivated and able to work independently
- Able to obtain and maintain valid first aid and CPR certification
- Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- Able to obtain a valid Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer two (2) years of experience working in a Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
- Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees
