Job Summary
Licensed LVN or RN directs resident care and medication management under physicians' supervision, coordinating care with community healthcare professionals and overseeing Medication Technicians. Responsibilities include conducting pre-admission assessments and ongoing reassessments, interviewing potential residents and families for admission per Title 22 requirements, monitoring residents' physical and emotional health, and communicating with executive leadership about staff capabilities. Requires CA nursing license, ability to obtain RCFE, staff training proficiency, mandatory background checks and health screenings, and compliance with vaccination/PPE protocols. Experience supervising staff and operating MS Office is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid California nursing license
- Prefer two (2) years of experience in Residential Care Facility for the Elderly (RCFE)
- Prefer one (1) year of experience supervising and managing employees
- Able to obtain a valid RCFE license or authorization
- Able to teach/train staff
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel)
