Job Summary

Conduct rapid, evidence-based technical analysis on diagnostic testing and operational strategies for Ebola responses in DRC and Uganda. Advise on U.S. domestic surge testing readiness and stockpiling, then produce written reports, decision memos, and presentations for CDC leadership to inform urgent decisions. Collaborate with headquarters and overseas country offices to monitor high-consequence pathogens, develop guidance and training materials for public health partners, and improve data collection for surveillance evaluation. Manage complex surveillance data, ensure high-quality standards, and prepare summaries and slide decks for partners and agency leadership while participating in internal and external meetings.

Required Qualifications

  • MD/PhD or Master's in public health, biological sciences, epidemiology, or data management
  • 7-10+ years including emergency response

Desired Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
