Job Summary
Administer subject-specific assessments to evaluate student competency and develop individual learning plans. Instruct students through demonstrations, explanations, and facilitation to improve academic success. Advise parents and guardians on student progress, achievements, and improvement strategies. Collaborate with instructional staff, administrators, and community resources to enhance student outcomes. Direct assistant teachers, student teachers, and volunteers to ensure an effective classroom program. Manage student behavior and monitor students across classrooms, playgrounds, and field trips to maintain a safe learning environment. Prepare written materials including grades, attendance records, and anecdotal notes. Maintain district equipment and report defects for repair. Remain current on research findings to apply appropriate teaching principles. Report incidents such as fights or suspected abuse to adhere to school policies and the education code.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in job-related area
- Appropriate Wyoming State Department of Education Certificate, endorsement and highly qualified status
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance
- Job related experience

- Ability to read technical information
