Job Summary
Design and deliver Health Science Technology instruction covering therapeutic, diagnostic, health informatics, and biotechnology pathways. Plan and execute developmentally appropriate lessons, manage classroom behavior, and grade student work while maintaining accurate records. Coordinate with parents through conferences and workshops, supervise teaching assistants, and operate specialized curriculum equipment. Provide remedial assistance and ensure student safety during activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
- minimum of two years full-time work experience as a Registered Nurse
- minimum of six-months of full time work experience as a Registered Nurse
- current and valid Registered Nursing license through the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation
- SC Career and Technology Education Worked-Based teaching certificate
- valid South Carolina teaching certificate or eligibility for South Carolina teaching certificate in the appropriate certified area
