Job Summary
Health Science Career and Technical Education Teacher for HS, 2026-2027. Develops curriculum to teach entry-level health-science skills aligned with state regulations and District policies; coordinates with the Director of CTE to provide a consistent program; plans individualized study, delivers instruction per District curriculum, conducts safety training, maintains records, sponsors the CTSO, and provides work-based learning experiences; collaborates with CTE Program Specialists on curriculum, equipment, ordering, inventory, and program effectiveness; participates in staff development and ensures regulatory compliance for CTE education; maintains labs and relation with business partners for the CTE Advisory Board; travels within the district/state as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid Texas teaching certification in Health Science: Grades 6-12 or Health Science Technology Education: Grades 8-12 or Vocational Health Occupations or Vocational Health Science Technology
