Job Summary
Health Sci Postsecondary CTE Teacher role responsible for designing and delivering instruction in designated postsecondary CTE content areas, aligning with state standards and district curriculum. Responsibilities include creating engaging lessons, utilizing diverse teaching practices, monitoring student performance and grades, managing classroom behavior, communicating with parents and staff, maintaining student records and certifications, engaging with local businesses to partner with the CTE program, and participating in CTSO activities and ongoing professional development. Requires district certificate eligibility and the ability to earn industry certifications; emphasizes collaboration with community partners and continuous improvement in instructional practice.
Required Qualifications
- Eligibility for District Certificate required, including one of the following:
- Related bachelor’s degree with two (2) years related experience.
- Related AA/AS degree with four (4) years related experience.
- One (1) year of technical training with five years of verifiable experience.
- Six (6) years of full‐time in‐field verified work experience.
