Job Summary
Health Safety & Wellbeing Regional Manager at Downer leading Zero Harm initiatives across Australia and New Zealand. Responsible for championing a Zero Harm leadership culture, delivering the Zero Harm Strategy within timeframes, integrating the Zero Harm Management System into existing operations and new opportunities, providing expert HSE advice to contracts and service delivery partners, overseeing INX moderation processes across regions, and contributing to strategic Zero Harm projects. Requires degree-qualified WHS/Health/Safety professionals, ICAM or equivalent investigation training, auditing qualifications, and extensive senior WHS/OHS experience in facilities management or high-risk construction, with knowledge of ISO45001/ISO14001 and relevant WHS/OHS legislation. Demonstrates strong work ethic, collaboration with leaders, and commitment to high-quality outcomes. Required Qualifications
- Formal work health and safety qualifications (Degree in relevant discipline)
- Trained in ICAM or equivalent investigation methodology & WHS and/or EMS Auditor qualifications or accreditations
- Extensive practical experience in a senior WHS/OHS role
- Experience within Commercial Facilities Management and/or High Risk Construction Industry
- Understanding of safety and environmental management systems (ISO45001/ ISO14001) or equivalent standards
- WHS/OHS legislation/application to an organisation with multiple operating contexts
