Job Summary
Partner with key stakeholders to provide support and guidance, ensuring successful outcomes and delivery across Spark's subsidiaries. Connect with people to identify solutions that create a safer working environment and facilitate a growth mindset for health, safety, and well-being in teams. Establish relationships by understanding complex situations and offering sound resolve to support enhanced outcomes. Enable control over Spark's critical health, safety, and wellbeing risk profile, including unknown and complex risks. Become recognized as an accomplished H&S partner who facilitates the integration of health, safety, and well-being into the overall function of the organization and key business areas. Learn and adopt Spark's Agile ways of working for planning and executing Health, Safety, and well-being strategy initiatives for continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Ideally you hold a professional qualification (e.g., Dip in OHS) in Occupational Health and Safety
- Have extensive experience in a similar role
- Have excellent communication, conciliation, and soft management skills
- Candidates must be based in New Zealand
- Candidates must have permanent residency, citizenship, or a valid work visa (with at least 18 months remaining)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in a Telco or Technical environment
