Job Summary
Conduct health and safety assessments, inspections, air sampling, and environmental monitoring activities while serving as the primary on-site contact for clients. Prepare accurate technical reports, documentation, and regulatory comparisons to maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable health and safety regulations. Coordinate project equipment, laboratory testing, and daily project activities across manufacturing, construction, industrial, and office environments. Travel throughout the Midwest to customer locations with expenses reimbursed and per diem provided, collaborating with Project Managers while working independently. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Full-time, 40-hour schedule with opportunities for career growth into Project Management roles.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable personal vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work at heights
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to wear respirators, protective equipment, and fall protection when required
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and sit for extended periods
- Full-Time, 40 hours per week
- Monday–Friday
- Up to 50% travel throughout the Northeast
- Will work in the field at client sites and/or remotely from home
- Travel is planned in advance, with business expenses reimbursed and per diem provided
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in environmental health & safety, industrial hygiene, construction safety, environmental consulting, or a related technical field
- Experience with asbestos monitoring, asbestos inspections, air sampling, lead sampling, mold sampling, or similar environmental services
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional reports
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
