Health & Safety Technician

Job Summary
Conair seeks an Occupational Health & Safety Technician to provide support in maintaining a positive safety culture and implementing safety programs. Responsibilities include conducting hazard assessments, investigations of workplace injuries, and compliance audits. The technician will perform industrial hygiene sampling, deliver safety training, manage personal protective equipment (PPE), participate in emergency planning, and maintain regulatory records. Candidates should have experience in health & safety management systems, communication skills, and knowledge of relevant safety regulations. Valid driver’s license and passport are required.
Required Qualifications
- Post secondary education in occupational health & safety or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid passport (able to travel within Canada & internationally)
- One to three years’ experience in occupational health & safety or in an aviation-related field (e.g., manufacturing, aircraft maintenance, airline/airport operations)
Desired Qualifications
- Occupational health & safety designation (e.g., CRST) preferred
- Occupational health & safety experience in an aviation-related workplace preferred
