Job Summary
Conduct daily site walks to identify, document, and resolve safety risks while completing Daily Hazard Analysis using prescribed software. Advise management on safety regulation interpretation and evaluate equipment needs for project work, ensuring stock availability through weekly meetings. Assist in accident investigations, recommend improvements based on trend analysis, and distribute worksite safety and evacuation plans to onsite personnel. Provide first aid and emergency services, support subcontractor evaluations, and present toolbox talk content to project staff. Present the safety program progress to leadership and maintain knowledge of corporate policies and strategic plans.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 7+ years construction or safety experience
- Experience with a broad variety of construction methods and build types
- Proven skill to identify onsite project safety risks and recommend mitigation within safety and project program requirements
- Able to take on special tasks or projects with limited to no direction and oversight required
- Strong multitasking and organization skills
- Proven knowledge of construction site equipment, methods and processes
- Developed verbal, written and presentation skills with all levels of the organization
- Developed and proven knowledge to control or eliminate hazards following prescribed methods
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Health & Safety or related field
