Job Summary
Develop and maintain health and safety programs across multiple manufacturing facilities while personally executing initiatives on the production floor. Conduct routine safety inspections, investigate incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions for unsafe conditions, machine guarding, chemical handling, and ergonomic risks. Lead housekeeping (5S) and continuous improvement efforts to standardize work areas, reduce hazards, and foster a culture of accountability. Prepare environmental compliance reports, maintain OSHA logs, and serve as the primary contact during regulatory inspections. Train employees, facilitate safety committees, and collaborate with plant managers to drive operational efficiency and risk reduction.

Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field
- Three to five years of experience in a health and safety, environmental, manufacturing, operations, maintenance, quality, continuous improvement, or related role
- Experience working in a manufacturing, industrial, metal finishing, chemical processing, plating, or similar production environment
- Experience implementing workplace safety programs, conducting inspections, leading continuous improvement initiatives, or developing 5S programs
- Experience working across multiple facilities or supporting multiple departments
- Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, NFPA, and other applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations
- OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification
- HAZWOPER 40-hour training
- Professional certifications such as CSP, ASP, CIH, CHMM, OHST, CHST, Lean Six Sigma, or similar credentials
- Strong multi-site leadership, project management, and communication skills
- Ability to identify trends and use data to improve workplace safety and reduce risk
- Experience using Microsoft Office and the ability to learn safety management systems and compliance software
