Job Summary
Health & Safety Manager responsible for environmental, industrial, health and safety regulatory compliance across facilities. Oversee development, planning, and implementation of EHS policies, procedures, and training programs; ensure proper hazardous and radioactive waste handling and documentation; manage regulatory agency interactions; lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions; administer workers’ compensation in partnership with HR; supervise EHS team and continuous safety improvements. Must have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, 8+ years of EHS experience with leadership, and strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations; proficient in program development, training, and risk mitigation across multiple locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications like CSP, CIH, CHMM preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience, including at least 3 years in a management or leadership capacity
- Deep understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local EHS regulations
- Strong program development/management experience in safety training and policies
- Experience investigating incidents using root cause analysis and implementing preventative measures
- Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple locations and drive safety initiatives across an organization
