Health & Safety Manager - Civil Engineering & Building - Limerick

Job Summary
Own safety performance across assigned live projects, maintaining the Safety Management System including Construction Regulations and ISO 45001. Write and review Safety Statements and RAMS to ensure site alignment, then run inspections and audits while driving corrective actions to close-out. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and HSA reporting, acting as the primary contact for the HSA, clients, and PSCS/PSDP duty holders. Deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and training to drive behavioral change on site. Report to senior management with the authority to stop work when warranted. Based in Limerick with regional travel, this permanent role requires a degree in health and safety and five years of construction experience in Ireland.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Health & Safety or Occupational H&S
- 5+ years' construction or civils H&S experience in Ireland
- IOSH membership (Chartered or Graduate) or working towards it
- Detailed knowledge of the Construction Regulations and the PSCS/PSDP framework
- Full clean driving licence
- You must be based in Ireland with valid working rights in Ireland to be considered

- Manual Handling Instructor certification
