Job Summary
Develop Work Health and Safety (WHS) policies aligned with business strategy and culture while running safety audits and monitoring programs across national infrastructure projects. Draft Construction Safety Management Plans with key stakeholders, investigate incidents to identify root causes, and drive strategic actions to reduce TRIFR and LTIFR metrics. Build a positive safety culture across teams and projects by overseeing incident investigations and shaping policies for consistent, high-quality outcomes. Report safety performance and trends to senior management to ensure compliance with WHS legislation. This role reports to the Regional Health & Safety Manager and supports ACCIONA's mission to deliver sustainable transport, water, and social infrastructure across Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in OHS, Environmental Science, Engineering or related
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Work Health and Safety
- Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulations
- Experience managing incident investigations and safety audits
- Current driver's licence for travel between sites
