Job Summary

Health Safety Environmental Technician to perform after-hours inspections of construction and maintenance projects to ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards and regulations. Responsibilities include inspecting workplaces and equipment, enforcing safety processes, providing timely reporting of inspections and incidents, conducting daily safety meetings, and providing safety oversight for special projects. Must be able to work overnight (typically 4pm–2am), weekends, and variable schedules; capable of climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolding; communicate effectively with contractors and safety personnel; document inspections and incidents in writing; work independently and outdoors in varying weather. Requirements include U.S. citizenship and the ability to provide required documents at hire, Texas driver’s license, and successful completion of background check and drug screen. NASA badge requirements and professional appearance are expected, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain NASA badge.
  • Must provide a certified birth certificate (with state seal), Passport, or INS Citizenship documents on date of hire.
