Job Summary
Conduct root cause analysis on incidents and injuries to drive corrective and preventive actions while ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO standards. Analyze operational data to assess risks and measure program effectiveness, then manage documentation controls for policies, training records, and regulatory filings. Plan and execute internal audits, environmental inspections, and ISO assessments to ensure timely closure of corrective actions. Design and deliver OSHA-mandated safety and environmental training programs, including new hire onboarding and specialized instruction. Provide technical guidance to leadership and cross-functional teams to standardize HSE practices and lead safety committees.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, occupational safety, environmental science, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience conducting incident investigations
- Demonstrated experience performing root-cause analysis
- Demonstrated experience implementing corrective and preventive actions
- Strong record keeping
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
- Clear results of a background check
- Clear results of a drug screen
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with Microsoft, SAP, ACAD, and other relevant software platforms
- Self-starter
- Hands-on experience managing ISO 19001 and ISO 14001 compliance programs and audits
