Health, Safety & Environmental Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate site safety orientation, conduct job-site inspections, and manage accident/incident reports. Monitor employees and subcontractors on site for safety compliance; proactively identify hazardous situations and implement corrective measures. Organize and conduct training programs including WHMIS, Fall Protection, Personal Protective Equipment, and CPR/First Aid. Create, maintain, and educate all site staff on maintaining a safety-first culture. Review subcontractors’ pre-construction safety submittals and weekly safety documentation. Compile weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly project health and safety statistics. Requires 3-5 years of construction safety experience and pursuit or holding of the NCSO designation with knowledge of OHS regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of construction safety experience (preferably on Civil Bridges, Infrastructure or ICI Buildings projects)
- Ability to delegate and influence others to follow safety rules and regulations
- NCSO designation in progress or obtained
- Knowledge of OHS regulations
