Job Summary
Deliver excellent service to a portfolio of clients within the Health, Safety & Environmental consultancy segment through face-to-face meetings, video, telephone, and email channels. Execute a proactive contact strategy to understand client needs, provide commercial advice, and encourage adoption of digital self-service channels. Drive new business growth via referrals, networking, and relationship building with internal and external networks while collaborating with the Consultancy Delivery team to ensure services meet customer expectations. Manage client retention, renewal pricing conversations, and complex technical issues for both your own portfolio and colleagues. Maintain an up-to-date contact strategy plan to achieve agreed income goals. Requires CertIOSH with expected progression to CMIOSH within 18 months. Salary £41,183–£48,450 plus £6,000 car allowance. 35-hour remote-first role based in Sussex, Kent, South London, and surrounding areas.
Required Qualifications
- professional qualifications in Health & Safety or Environmental
- membership of relevant professional body
- minimum CertIOSH
- expected to attain CMIOSH within 18 months of joining
- extensive experience in a role relating to Health & Safety
- background in dealing with the provision of advice for complex matters
- Extensive experience of identifying customer needs
- identifying risks and prioritising recommendations
- The ability to identify and lead business solutions
- provide commercial price quotes
- Excellent time management skills
- a flexible approach to serve customers at times that meet their needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to convey clear and easy to understand technical Health, Safety and Environmental advice and guidance both verbally and in writing
- Travel across Sussex, Kent, South London and surrounding areas is required
