Job Summary
Conduct daily site safety inspections and assess risks to develop mitigation plans for WB Melback's forestry and mining job sites across Canada. Ensure workplace compliance with local and federal regulations while supporting the Health and Safety Manager in maintaining a risk-aware culture. Identify hazards for personnel and contractors, then implement strategies to eliminate environmental and community risks. Perform other related duties as assigned, including managing construction management processes and utilizing Excel and Word for reporting. Requires 5 years of HSE experience and certification. Rotation is 14 days in, 7 days out, with 10.5-hour shifts. Flights, meal allowance, and accommodations are provided for the Englehart, ON location.
Required Qualifications
- 5 Years HSE Experience
- HSE Certification
- Rotation: 14 Days In / 7 Days Out
- Shifts: 10.5 Hours Shifts (10 hours paid with 30 min unpaid meal break)
- Location: Englehart, ON
- Flights, Meal Allowance & Accommodations Provided
- DSP Contract also considered
- Knowledge of construction management methods, processes, and best practices
- Computer experience including Excel Spreadsheet and Microsoft Word
