Job Summary
Conduct site inspections, company audits, and risk assessments to ensure personnel compliance with HSE regulations and company requirements. Implement and maintain the Integrated Management System (ISO 9001, 45001, 14001), manage corrective actions, and deliver tailored HSE training programs. Chair HSE meetings, liaise with external authorities, and support the HSEQ Manager in fostering a proactive safety culture across the business. Present key metrics and KPIs while building relationships with clients and subcontractors. This 18-month contract is based in Gowerton, Swansea, requiring a NEBOSH Construction Certificate and 3+ years of project-based experience.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 NEBOSH Construction Certificate in Health and Safety, or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar construction project-based role
- Experience in managing contractors and supply chains
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and work well in a team environment
- A proactive approach with the confidence to challenge unsafe practices and influence behaviour
- Have a keen eye for detail and drive to complete tasks
- Willingness to undertake continued professional development
- Willingness to travel
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite
