Job Summary
Conduct daily site walks to identify, document, and resolve onsite safety risks, maintaining Daily Hazard Analysis records. Advise management on safety regulation interpretation and evaluate equipment needs for project work, ensuring proper stocking and availability. Assist in investigating accidents, injuries, or incidents, ensuring timely and compliant resolutions while providing first aid and emergency services to onsite crews. Support subcontractor safety program evaluations and present toolbox talk content to project staff. Present the progress of the project safety program to leadership as directed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- OHS Certification
- Proficiency in HSE Management programs
- Able to identify onsite project safety risks and recommend mitigation within safety and project program requirements
- Able to take on special tasks or projects with limited direction and oversight required
- Strong multitasking and organization skills
- Able to take ownership for assigned tasks, as defined by supervisor
- General knowledge of construction site equipment, methods and processes
- Verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Growing knowledge to control or eliminate hazards following prescribed methods
- Experience with a broad variety of construction methods and build types
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Health & Safety or related field
- NSCO Designation
