Health & Safety Coordinator - Construction

Conduct daily site inspections and audits every two weeks to verify H&S procedure implementation, identify hazards, and complete inspection reports. Chair monthly, quarterly, and annual H&S meetings, document minutes, and track action items while creating weekly Tool Box Talk topics. Manage the COR application and audit process, including internal audits, external auditor liaison, and developing corrective action plans. Review and update all Safety, Job Hazard Analysis, and Work Safety Plans annually, ensuring compliance with OHS legislation and new codes. Coordinate incident reporting, investigations, and WSIB case monitoring, responding to incidents within 24 hours and facilitating root cause analysis. Oversee equipment checks, PPE inspections, first aid supply inventory, and emergency response plan maintenance across all projects.
