Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of clients by scheduling support visits and conducting Health & Safety audits and Fire Risk Assessments to produce clear action plans. Support clients in implementing recommended improvements while maintaining records in our bespoke online management system. Develop and review tailored policies, processes, and procedures, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance service delivery and share industry knowledge. Stay current with UK legislation and best practices to ensure compliance. Requires NEBOSH qualification, Fire Certificate, IOSH membership, and a full UK driving licence. Based in Aberdeen, this role offers competitive salary and benefits within the JMG Group.
Required Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate, Diploma, Fire Certificate, or equivalent
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety advisory role
- Experience in completion of Fire Risk Assessments in a client-facing role
- Member of professional body, IOSH, IFSM etc.
- Professional, friendly and support approach to implementation of H&S requirements
- Clear understanding of legislation and best practice
- Strong communication skills
- Organisational skills
- Ability to influence leaders and workers in a variety of setting and industries
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to manage a varied workload
- Full UK driving licence
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of, and experience in implementing, Management Systems, primarily H&S
- Knowledge in relation to Quality and Environmental management
